Dr. Gates has a long and exciting history of treating recreational and professional athletes,  he has provided chiropractic care for Olympic swimmers, Karate and Kickboxers and professional motorcycle and dragster racers.  After a comprehensive history and thorough physical examination, Dr. Gates will determine the cause of the pain and dysfunction, as well as recommend an appropriate treatment plan, depending on the mechanism and the type of injury. Dr. Gates' treatment may include joint manipulation and mobilization, soft tissue therapies, modalities and rehabilitation with individualized exercises and lifestyle advice to restore the proper motion and function, and to enhance the healing of the damaged tissues and reduce the pain.  This way the patient can return to the things they love to do and play.  Regular chiropractic visits will promote quicker recovery after games and training, as well as better balance and overall performance.
